Solar
Balance Amount:
The remaining balance is payable on the day of installation. PAYMENT IS DUE ON RECEIPT OF THE INVOICE. Late payments may attract an administration fee. In the event of non-payment or late payment of any outstanding invoices, the following provisions will apply:
- Late Payment Fees: A late payment fee will be applied to any payments received after the due date specified in the invoice. The late payment fee will be a percentage of the outstanding balance or a flat fee, as determined by the company. Collection
- Costs: Should it become necessary to engage the services of a collection agency or pursue legal action to recover unpaid bills, the customer will be responsible for all associated collection costs, including but not limited to legal fees, court costs, and collection agency fees.
- Reporting to Credit Agencies: Failure to make payment or engage in satisfactory arrangements for outstanding bills may result in the company reporting the delinquent account to credit agencies, which may negatively impact the customer’s credit rating.
Attendance:
It is required that you be present throughout the installation and commissioning of your system.
STCs/Credits:
By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge and agree to assign all Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the system and its operation to us.
Building Defects:
You warrant that the building or location at the installation address is safe, free from asbestos or any other defects that may jeopardise the safety of our installers. The building/location must also be suitable for the installation of the system. Additional charges may apply for dealing with asbestos or other defects.
Spare Tiles:
In the rare case of cracked tiles prior to or during installation, spare tiles must be provided. Electric Cool Geraldton cannot be held responsible or liable if your building contains brittle roof tiles. If tile replacement becomes necessary, we can arrange it for a fee of $30 per tile.
Panel Layout:
Proposed panel layouts are provided as a guide and may be subject to adjustment based on the roof layout, screw lines, or unforeseen obstructions. If there is a need to deviate from the proposed panel layout, the head installer/designer will require confirmation from the decision maker or owner of the house before commencing work. Please note that shading can significantly affect the solar PV output at different times of the day.
WiFi Setup:
Electric Cool Geraldton offers complimentary inverter WiFi setup on the day of installation. To avail this service, your inverter must be installed within the range of your WiFi network, and you will need to provide the WiFi details on the installation day.
Cable Run:
In the rare situation where the wall cavity is inaccessible, an external conduit may need to be used. If an external conduit becomes necessary, we will always strive to maintain the aesthetic appearance of your property.

Our workmanship is covered by our standard 10-year warranty.
By accepting this quote, you acknowledge that it constitutes an offer from us to you, as outlined in the Quote and the attached Terms and Conditions. Upon signing, you accept this offer and enter into a legally binding agreement with us based on those terms.
Electric Cool Geraldton is a signatory to the Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar Retailer Code of Conduct.
Grid Connection:
Electric Cool Geraldton will handle the grid connection applications on your behalf. However, it is advisable for you to contact your electricity retailer to discuss any potential impact on your current tariff rates resulting from the installation of solar.
Consent:
You must provide consent for us to collect, hold, use, and disclose your information, including personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act. This consent is required for the purposes of this agreement and for marketing our products and services related to the system.
Additional Items:
If any additional chargeable work arises in conjunction with the specified works in this Quote, we will obtain your consent before commencing such work.
Aircondition
Prices are for a ground-mounted, back-to-back install
Single-story home
Prices are for new installation or replacement.
Extra piping, wall brackets, 2-story install, and roof mount of outdoor unit will incur an additional cost. The contractor will discuss this with you and give you the additional cost prior to installation.
